Short and to the point

I purchased the 2.0 about 2 weeks ago and have put on 97 miles so far almost all off road and under a variety of conditions including very rocky trails and smooth flowing downhill single track. Let me start with the tire selection...these tires grip like glue and it amazes me that I think they are gonna break loose and they stick I've tried them on steep concrete wall and ride horizontally with no problem. The Shimano Deore shifters are not top of the line but they have worked smooth as butter so far and no stretching. The fork and Rockshox rear shocks have been set at mid point for me (I'm 5'10" and 170 pounds) and they soak up the biggest bumps and drop offs for me so far. Getting used to the drop post and so far it has really been an "asset" seriously.
The Yamaha motor will tackle the steepest hills so far with ease and having a double chain ring is a bonus out on the downhills or straightaways. I rode 21 miles of a lot of steep uphill in loose deep granite which is a power sucker and was down to about 40% battery left. Bottom line, I love this bike and so far no complaints. I ride further and longer than I ever would on a conventional Mtn. bike.
